Give this gorgeous pancake breakfast board a try, especially if you have little time but want to make a big impact. Using your favorite breakfast meats and fruit, it is sure to be a crowd pleaser as a delightfully sweet and savory combination.
It is super easy… just make your favorite pancake recipe or try the one I have provided in the recipe below (or check out these great vegan or gluten free options!) and garnish your breakfast charcuterie board with fruit, bacon, and Nutella. Enjoy! xoM
Nutella Pancake Breakfast Board
Ingredients
For the Pancakes
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 3 tsps baking powder
- 1.5 tsps baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 cups buttermilk, at room temperature
- 3 eggs room temperature
- 1/2 cup melted butter
For the Platter
- bacon, cooked
- fresh fruit (such as raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and bananas)
- Nutella, for serving
Instructions
For the Pancakes
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.In a separate bowl, beat together buttermilk, eggs, and butter.Fold the "wet" mixture into the "dry" mixture until just combined. The batter should be clumpy.Onto a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan set to medium high heat, scoop approximately 1/2 cup of batter to form a pancake. When bubbles appear on the surface, flip over and continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes. Repeat with the remaining batter. Makes 12-15 pancakes.
For the Platter
- Arrange pancakes on a serving board to create a breakfast board. Add bacon, fresh fruit, and Nutella.
