There was a time when Easter brunch in Phoenix meant one thing: The Phoenician resort. If you know, you know. It was the place for any celebratory brunch—Mother’s Day, Easter, birthdays—always with bottomless mimosas, a massive shrimp and seafood bar, made-to-order omelets, and a dessert spread that could rival a patisserie. At $75 per person, it felt like a splurge (especially back in the day), but nothing else came close.
While The Phoenician brunch is now a memory, the brunch scene in Phoenix has expanded in all the right ways. Whether you’re looking for a stunning resort setting or a cozy neighborhood spot, here are some standout options for Easter Sunday:
Weft & Warp Art Bar + Kitchen. Located inside the Andaz Scottsdale, this modern spot offers a buffet-style brunch with a raw bar, salad station, and a main dish of your choosing. End on a sweet note with a decadent dessert table. Stylish and serene, this is a great option for those who want a relaxed, design-forward vibe.
Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort. I mentioned in my last post the beautiful remodel of this resort, so Easter would be worth checking out. The resort’s Easter brunch will feature a live music performance, a chef-attended carving station, and a lavish buffet filled with seasonal favorites.
Royal Palms. I haven’t been in years, but the setting alone makes it a winner. Choose between a three-course brunch at T. Cook’s or a grand buffet in the ballroom. Either way, it’s bound to be a picturesque and refined holiday experience.
Hearth ’61. Always a favorite, and perfect for those who prefer something polished but not fussy. Their Easter brunch includes family-style starters and desserts, plus your choice of five à la carte entrées made to order. Served from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with a seasonal dinner menu in the evening.
Francine. One of the chicest dining rooms in town. If you want your Easter to feel like a quick escape to the South of France, this is your spot. Expect elegance, excellent service, and a menu to match.
Luna by Giada. Celebrate in style with a luxurious brunch on April 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Highlights include a seafood display, pasta wheel, Tuscan carving station, and flowing mimosas and bellinis. It’s festive, flavorful, and definitely a scene.
El Chorro Lodge. Few places say “Arizona” like El Chorro. The mountain views, the historic charm—and yes, those sticky buns. Worth it for the setting alone.
Arcadia Farms Cafe. Perfect if you’re craving something classic and cozy. Their ham and cheddar cheese quiche with fresh thyme is a must, and the Crab Louie is always a hit. Ideal for a lower-key brunch with all the right touches.
Geordie’s at the Wrigley Mansion. Come for the views, stay for the dessert room. This brunch includes a waffle station, gourmet spread, and family-friendly fun like Easter treats for the kids and even adoptable puppies from Almost There Rescue.
And me? Where will I be? This year, Easter falls in the middle of travel for me—I’ll be flying back to Arizona from Texas that morning. So I may be celebrating with a to-go order from Amelia’s by Eat and calling it a day. Sometimes that’s exactly what I need. xoM
